The Hirschenbad nature gem is a natural pond that will be restored to its natural state in 2024. This multi-award-winning showcase project has restored the habitat for amphibians, salamanders, dragonflies and many other animals that have chosen the small body of water as a lively breeding ground.
From Brunnenhof, you can reach Hirschenbad on foot (in about 45 minutes) or by MTBike (with or without a motor in about 20 minutes). This idyllic spot in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains invites you to relax and unwind. You can enjoy a magnificent view of the Stanzertal valley and the Hoher Riffler. The pond is a great place for young and old to observe this mountain habitat of all kinds of small animals in the water and in the air.
